  1. Hi, I am Australian, can I apply for the working holiday visa when I am in France. I ask as I am in Europe already and want to stay longer and work whilst travelling around.

  2. Hi, as a New Zealand citezen that has been living overseas for a year travelling a few months either side but with no current residence visa, can i apply for the french working holiday visa from overseas? or would i have to go home and apply from there?

  3. Thanks for this useful information. I am an Australian currently in Europe and I am hoping I can apply for France work and Holiday visa from one of the EU countries. France visa service mentions that I can apply from outside of Australia too but it has to be the country of my residence, what does that mean? Does anyone know how I can gather more information? thank you

  4. Hi, when do you apply for the working holiday? Is there an application deadline or is it an open application all year? Should you find a job before applying for the working holiday? Iā€™m Korean but live in Japan.

  5. Hi I was just looking for clarification that if you obtain the youth mobility visa for France you can still travel into other Schengen Zone countries for the whole time your visa is valid?

  6. Hi!

I am an Australian currently in The Netherlands on a Working Holiday visa.
I now want to get a working holiday in france and travel around.
However, you need proof of accommodation which will be hard since i am traveling around.
    Is there any solution?

  7. Hi!

I am from Australia and currently live in The Netherlands on a working holiday visa.
I would like to apply for a working holiday visa in France, but i don’t have family or friends here.
So proving my accommodation is hard, because i want to travel around.
    Is this possible?

  8. Hi.
My partner and I are Australian and are considering a move to France to live and work. I am 33 and she is 29. A few years ago we lived and worked in the UK and loved it. We would like to go on another adventure like this. We now have a 3 year old daughter. Would it be possible to bring our daughter? My partner is a hotel manager and I am a plumber by trade but am currently a plumbing teacher at a trade school. Any info would be great. Cheers James

  9. Hi,

I am considering applying for the working holiday visa in France. Could you tell me the working restrictions? Am I only able to work for one employer for a certain amount of time, limited hours per week, etc.

    Thanks

    1. Hi Erin, what country are you from? I ask this as each country has negotiated different conditions for their Citizens. šŸ™‚

      1. Hi Michael,

I’m not the original commenter but I have the same question as them (i.e. am I only able to work for one employer for a certain amount of time, limited hours per week, etc).

I’m from New Zealand and can’t find anything in the bilateral agreement between NZ and France. Thanks in advance!
