How do I turn up the backlight?

Answer

1. Open Main menu
2. Open Control panel
3. Open Device
4. Open Backlight
5. Switch to the Brightness tab
6. Change the drop-down to Handheld (normal)
7. Press Select
8. Press Save

The backlight is now running at maximum on your Sony Ericsson P1i.
